Purchase Policy


Our goal at Laughing Skull Lounge is to make your night of fun as easy and efficient as possible. Our Purchase Policy is designed to provide you with the information you need to ensure a smooth transaction and trouble-free retrieval of your tickets once you get to Laughing Skull Lounge. Please take a minute to read the following:


By completing your purchase, you acknowledge delivery of service is at The Laughing Skull Lounge on the day, date and time of the comedy show you are purchasing. If you are not able to attend the comedy show, please refer to our REFUNDS section.

If Laughing Skull Lounge is not able to deliver the comedy show you purchased, we will refund 100% of your money.

If we deliver these services and you are not in attendance, you are NOT eligible for a refund.

Again, by completing your purchase you acknowledge delivery of services is at Laughing Skull Lounge on the date and time of the show you purchased.


We want everyone to have fun at our comedy shows. If you heckle the comedian, disrupt the show or people around you, we will give you a notice and ask you to stop that behavior. If yo continue the behavior, you will be removed from the premises with NO REFUND.


In accordance with our Terms of Service, Laughing Skull Lounge refund policy is as follows:

- All refund or transfer requests MUST BE sent to; whatup@laughingskulllounge.com - We DO NOT process either of the aforementioned inquiries over the phone.

- Refunds WILL NOT be issued if tickets are purchased within 4 hours from the start of the show.

- Refunds can be processed, but will only include Ticket Price & Tax.

- Refunds and Transfers MUST be requested 4 hours prior to the start of showtime. Requests made within 4 hours (or less) of showtime can be transferred to another guest (friend, family, etc.,), by emailing the names of the individuals to whatup@laughingskulllounge.com, but will NOT be eligible for either a Transfer OR Refund.

- A $2 per ticket fee is associated with every Transfer to be paid IN CASH night of the show upon check in.

In addition, tickets purchased through Laughing Skull Lounge's website may be subject to a per-ticket Convenience Charge, which is non-refundable except in extraordinary circumstances where Laughing Skull Lounge is unable to honor your tickets purchased through our website (i.e., if a show time is cancelled, no seat was available in the theater, etc.). Before purchasing your tickets we urge you to confirm the title, time and location of the shows, performances, appearances, events, special events, classes, or other similar artistic showcases ("Event" or "Events") you wish to see.

At the time of your order, Laughing Skull Lounge will place an order for your tickets in our ticketing system, reducing the number of seats available for the chosen show. While this allows us to provide our customers with the clear benefit of guaranteed seats, it prevents Laughing Skull Lounge from reselling tickets in the event that you do not attend your show. However, your seat will only be guaranteed for up until twenty (20) minutes after the commencement of the comedy show.

If you cannot attend the show for which you have purchased tickets, you may contact us at whatup@laughingskulllounge.com to request a transfer or request a refund. In this instance the above policies will be enforced.


Please read your online and email confirmation pages carefully, as they provide you with important information about retrieving your tickets.You do NOT need to bring your Print-at-Home Referenced-Coded Ticket to the venue. ONLY last name is required at check in.

*If you are late, we will hold your seats for up to 30 minutes after the start of the show. After that they are not guaranteed.


Please be prepared to present your state issued picture I.D. when entering The Vortex Midtown.

Laughing Skull Lounge and The Vortex Midtown require all patrons to be over the age of twenty-one (21) to enter.


Laughing Skull Lounge is a CASHLESS Venue. As forms of payment the Laughing Skull accepts MasterCard, and Visa. We also accept debit cards. We do not accept "Single-Use" card number security products OR American Express.


As an integral part of your ticketing transaction with our ticketing system LaughStub, we send you via e-mail a ticket confirmation following purchase explaining how to retrieve your tickets, as well as a subsequent invitation to rate-and-review the comedy show and your experience. Providing feedback via the rate-and-review e-mail is optional; if you do not wish to participate, just ignore or delete that email.


You are responsible for paying all applicable taxes in connection with your purchase of any tickets.
